About Me

My photo
I’m obsessed about reading, I love fiction. Specifically paranormal stuff... no it didn't start with twilight. I enjoy a fantasy or sci-fi book as well. And I have read a few urban fantasy books as well and I’m getting into reading a bit of erotica as well (but shh that is our little secret!) No part of my life is what you would call "normal" and I wouldn't have it any other way! I may not be the best at doing reviews. But I try. I try to be Honest and fair, but be warned I can be too honest! If I do not like your book, I will say so. But I will also state why, and also suggest the type of person it might be for. But My Goal is NEVER to be Mean. And Remember it is MY OPINION and you have been warned! Also i don't want to accidentally give out spoilers so in some of my reviews i go for the less is more option. i like readers to discover things for themselves. but that usually doesn't stop me from raving on about a particular book!

Theoba by Donna Milward

Thoeba (Book 1)Thoeba by Donna Milward

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Thoeba is an angel fighting a war in Eden. Her true love Thani fights beside her and is in charge of the energy aka God. She the warrior and he the guardian. When he dies at the hands of a demon. She takes charge of the energy, which happens to be a pendant on a necklace. Confused? Don't be. It's explained much better in the book.

We follow Thoeba into the next realm, which just happens to be earth. The portal opens up right near a boat being driven by Peter, a millitary man on break waiting for his kids Kayla and Zack to show up for the weekend. When Thoeba Falls near the boat he gets there just in time to grab her ankle. From he time he rescues her this book becomes a wild ride. Demons have followed her into this realm and Armageddon is just around the corner unless Thoeba can stop it. She will need help, but first she has to get them to believe.

The book explores a lot of topics based around religion. It is an angels vs demons book after all. Some topics may be difficult to confront, but are not intended to insult or to inspire debate. I think that it is just part of the story that the author has created. And it works well. As you can see she has worked hard to introduce new, as well as confirm conspiracy theories. And as for the conspiracy theorist in me.....I Love it!
