About Me

My photo
I’m obsessed about reading, I love fiction. Specifically paranormal stuff... no it didn't start with twilight. I enjoy a fantasy or sci-fi book as well. And I have read a few urban fantasy books as well and I’m getting into reading a bit of erotica as well (but shh that is our little secret!) No part of my life is what you would call "normal" and I wouldn't have it any other way! I may not be the best at doing reviews. But I try. I try to be Honest and fair, but be warned I can be too honest! If I do not like your book, I will say so. But I will also state why, and also suggest the type of person it might be for. But My Goal is NEVER to be Mean. And Remember it is MY OPINION and you have been warned! Also i don't want to accidentally give out spoilers so in some of my reviews i go for the less is more option. i like readers to discover things for themselves. but that usually doesn't stop me from raving on about a particular book!

Review: Godzilla in Hell

Godzilla in Hell Godzilla in Hell by James Stokoe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****I received an Advanced copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.*****

Wow that was one hell of a ride (no Pun intended!)

I have been a BIG fan of godzilla from the original Gojira (and english version King of the Monsters). Right through to final wars and yes even the most recent ones.

so imagine my excitement at going through netgalley and finding this gem of a comic.

You won't find any narrative until about halfway through, and even then it doesn't really tell a story. it just comments on who he is fighting. but most of the time you have to guess.

If you are a fan like me you will notice king Ghidorah, Mecha-Godzilla and more. Poor godzilla just keeps on fighting.
This comic reminds me of a video game, except its one boss battle after another. and that is all it seems to be. just one battle after another..... but then again he is in hell. It can also be interpreted as the great leviathan going through the many levels of hell.... but that is just my opinion.

There is admittedly little storyline to go with this. But it as enjoyable to watch Godzilla's Journey through hell. I even read this in one sitting! pure awesome. Seriously left a smile on my face after reading it..... that might just be the fangirl in me.

Thank you to the publisher and to the author and of course to netgalley, for allowing me to read this comic. I am jubilant that I was given a chance to read this.
